My family and I love living in Boise, but one of the hardest things here is finding a job where you can have a real relationship with your employer, build connections in the community, grow your professional network and retain the flexibility of hybrid/remote work.

I've worked remotely as a software dev for almost a decade...for companies in Ohio, California, Oregon, Minnesota, and New York...many of whom I never met and don't remember my name.

When I started looking for local jobs I discovered that finding a regional recruiter was difficult if not impossible and none of them retained a relationship with the big players in town or any members of the growing startup scene.

This sites goal is to bridge that gap between job seekers who want to work in Idaho (or eastern Oregon) and the employers who want to hire them.
